All I see is Raven Fits, and I'm sure there is a good reason for that. But how would you fit a Maelstrom? Currently I have 3M SP (I know it's not much) and plan on doing LVL 4 when I get some more SP's. But for fun I was playing around in EFT. I put on 5 PDU in lows and 8 1400mm Carbine for high. Medium I'm thinking 1L SB, 2 Invul hardener, 2 shield boost amps, and a Large Extender. I know this may make some laugh but I'm pretty new and past similar setups seemed to have done me well in other missions with lower class ships. What I like is the bonus the Strom gives for shield boosting.

Wow, thats completely out of my mind, thanks for opening it up to new ideas. Now I'm assuming this is going for more DPS than tank? And the reason for 1200 over 1400 is fitting? Or just because the 1200 have better tracking? Also is depleted uranium alright for this type of stuff, its what I have been using since the beginning. Thanks again.

Probably too much cap but shield booster runs no problem. Alos I agree , use ammo appropriate to rat type
Hmm even if it calls for EMP? The only problem I have with emp is the range hit you take for the extra damage. I think it pretty much cuts it in half.

Also when you say hardener/amp do you mean setup 2 racial hardeners and 2 amps?

I found eve-survival and notice most missions have two types of damage being delt. So you equip an active shield hardener for the prim dmg and a passive shield hardener for secondary damage? I just used Invul hardeners before I found eve-survival. But using that feels cheesy. Also am I confusing your reference to amp as a shield boost amp or something different?

I've decided to wait it out and go with the 1200mm T2's. I just picked it up so now I have quite a bit of skills and money to be made before I even bring it outside. Also what are you takes on drones? I thought of fitting 4 heavy drones.

When I set this up even with CCC's With everything going cap only lasts 1m 41s. Is there something I can do to improve on that. It does look like a great tank.

Above seems to be the most practical for my situation. Also about this whole Raven deal. Does anyone find it annoying that everyone and their mother flys one of those? I'm personally doing minni only ships since the skills become racial only past a point aka BS's. Are they really that significantly better than other missioning BS's?
